Wednesday, April 11 -- Companions Prayer Meeting (7:30-9:00pm)

As a follow-up to our Life in the Spirit Seminar, the Companions are hosting a prayer meeting at St. Scholastica's Church (8201 W. Outer Dr., Detroit).  Even if you didn't attend the seminar last weekend your are still most welcome to come out and pray with us.

Thursday, April 12 -- The Upper Room (7:30-9:30pm)

Please come out for adoration, worship, and a talk.  Brianna Rosenbaum, a recent nursing grad of Madonna U, will be sharing about her experiences of evangelizing as a student.  Bring your bible and some friends along.

Friday, April 13 -- Fellowship of St. Paul (6:30-8:30pm)

Sacred Heart is also hosting their monthly prayer meeting this Friday.  The keynote speaker will be the renowned Sr. Ann Shields!

Friday, April 13 -- Youth Lock-In

Reminder that the Youth Lock-in is taking place this Friday-Saturday.  If you are interested please let me know ASAP as they are in need of volunteers (newman@wayne.edu).

Saturday, April 14 -- Pro-Life Day Conference at Madonna U

This afternoon conference (12:30-5:30pm) only costs $10 if you register beforehand and will be well worth your time.  It ends with Mass with Bishop Michael Byrnes (and Fr. Simon). 

Summer Schedules

Please give me an idea if you will be around campus this summer and if you would like to continue to participate with activities at Newman.  Also, I am planning on leading weekend trips to Canada potentially around May 4-6 (Fr. Bob's Internment in Ottawa), towards the end of May (Ordination in Ottawa, 1st Mass in Toronto), and June 15-17 (Women's Retreat in Combermere).  Let me know if any of these interest you.

Friday, April 27 -- Missa Cantata

Fr. Lee Acervo will be celebrating a sung Latin Mass at St. Josaphat's at 7pm.  All are welcome for Mass and then to a social afterwards.

Monday, April 16 -- Weekly Rosary @ 12:45

There has been a grassroots clamoring to turn to our Blessed Mother for her intercession at least once a week as a group.  BYOB (Bring Your Own Beads...or not, there's lot of extra rosaries at the Newman).  Starts at 12:45 in the chapel. 

In the meantime, please come visit us up on the 7th floor of the Student Center whenever you have a free moment.
